ZigSense, from Conlab (Australia), is a line of low power wireless sensors utilising 2.4GHz ZigBee or 900MHz Digimesh network technologies as their core communication channel. ZigSense network is a self healing wireless network of sensors designed for reliable monitoring of various physical parameters for a prolonged period.

Designed for low voltage, battery power and low current consumption, ZigSense wireless sensors offer exceptional flexibility and ease of operation, minimising costs associated with installing hard wired systems. Data from distributed wireless sensors can be integrated ad-hoc to existing or newly established SCADA, PLC, HMI & Data Logging systems or published directly to cloud monitoring services utilising Ethernet, Wi-Fi or GPRS connections.

A central ZigSense gateway coordinates the wireless network. A built-in Modbus communication port provides a world recognised interface layer between wireless sensing nodes and readily available industrial monitoring and control systems.

Advanced wireless technology and low energy consumption combined with standard communication protocols qualify ZigSense wireless sensing systems as a suitable solution for a broad range of SCADA applications.
