17th CEM Air Quality and Emissions Monitoring Conference goes to Dublin in 2027

26 Mar, 2026

The 17th in a global series of emissions and air quality monitoring events, CEM Europe 2027 will bring 25 years of experience to Dublin, Ireland on 21-23 September 2027.

With previous editions in Europe, Asia, India and the Middle East, CEM Europe 2027 is designed for professionals from a wide range of industries who are responsible for monitoring emissions and air quality. The event has long-standing relationships with many of the sector's key regulatory authorities, researchers and standards organisations.

By attracting decision makers with an expansive programme of presentations from regulators, researchers and practitioners, CEM Europe 2027 creates a unique environment where attendees can engage face-to-face with technical experts, regulators and leading providers. It is an opportunity to gain direct access to the latest knowledge and technology in one place.

For many attendees, this combination of knowledge sharing, hands-on learning and direct supplier access makes CEM Europe an essential event for staying ahead in a rapidly evolving regulatory and technological landscape.

Visitors to CEM Europe events have included:

  • Environmental managers
  • Compliance officers
  • Process engineers
  • Laboratory specialists
  • Regulators
  • Consultants

...from the following sectors:

  • Power generation
  • Cement
  • Metals
  • Chemicals
  • Waste management
  • Incineration
  • Oil and gas
  • Mining
  • Manufacturing

Increasingly, it also attracts experts working in emerging areas such as methane reduction, hydrogen systems, agriculture and ambient air quality networks.

CEM Europe occupies an unparalleled position of respect within the industry. Its latest edition in 2025 was rated Good or Excellent by every single attendee and exhibitor who responded to a retrospective survey. Individually, the exhibition was rated Good or Excellent by 97% of attendees and the conference received these same ratings from 93% of respondents.

Its praises were sung by a variety of stakeholders. An Advisor on Environmental Policy for the Ministry of the Environment in the Slovak Republic, Mária Machaj called it “an excellently organised and truly inspiring event – full of valuable discussions, new insights and great people.” (In fact, you can watch Maria’s presentation at CEM Europe 2025 here.) From the private sector, enUMtec AG’s CEO André Holliger said: "In addition to the interesting and concise presentations, the high concentration of knowledgeable contacts at the exhibition is very appealing."

At CEM Europe 2027, delegates will hear expert discussion on a range of concerns within emissions and air quality monitoring, including:

  • Technologies and methods for novel pollutants; in particular, atmospheric PFAS, nanoplastics and amines,
  • Adapting to the present and near-future regulatory landscape,
  • Contemporary thinking on quality assurance; in particular, research into measurement uncertainty and limits of detection
  • Transparency in reporting
  • Future-proofing your data
  • Next steps for air quality monitoring networks
  • And many, many more.

In 2027, CEM Europe will run alongside the 6th Industrial Methane Measurement (IMM). A perfect pairing, IMM 2027 will allow those whose responsibilities also include monitoring methane to benefit from a dedicated conference.

Many of the stands on the exhibition floor have already been reserved, so there's no time to waste in booking your place at this industry's most valued event.
