Engineered for professional stack emissions monitoring, the advanced technical solutions of the LEVANTE heated probe enhance the sample temperature management and the sample withdrawal when carried out by more samplers at the same time.
The filter-holder housing has been designed to serve as an expansion chamber. This structure keeps the pressure balanced across the outlets side, ensuring an even sample extraction and mitigating pressure fluctuations when coupled with instruments operating at different flow rates. This expedient facilitates the simultaneous connection of multiple samplers, gas analysers or Flame Ionisation Detectors (FIDs).

Thermal management is governed by an independent and dual-zone thermoregulation setup that controls both the filter housing and the sampling probe, ensuring precise temperature adjustment up to 180 °C. All the outlet connections are heated to prevent localised cold areas from causing condensation which may compromise the sample integrity.

The probe houses two to five filtered sample outlets, all of them customisable to meet specific monitoring protocols. The standard configuration is equipped with a bottom outlet connection with a secure locking ring for heated sample transfer lines, and a back outlet connection specifically designed to optimise dilution-based sampling methods. Expansion options add a secondary locking ring connection and two side outlets to maximise analytical capability.

The standard equipment features a sintered stainless steel filter element, interchangeable with a 25 mm diameter flat fibreglass filter disk. The sampling probe (AISI 316 stainless steel) is available in both unheated and heated variants. The heated model is fully compatible with the extension tubes from the Sfera Technology Mistral sampling line.
The system is supplied with a heavy-duty, rugged transport case optimised for demanding field operations. The internal compartments are specifically designed to safely contain the heated filter body even when still hot just following the sampling, as well as the electronic thermoregulation modules and all necessary connection cables.
