Optimise your waste to energy plant with a new and improved gas analyser

ENVEA has improved its cutting-edge LAS 5000XD in-situ gas analyser, increasing speed and with a higher dynamic range for use in waste-to-energy plants.

These plants utilise a reagent as a consumable in the gas abatement process. However, controlling the reagent quantities relies on accurate gas measurement, delivered by solutions such as the LAS 5000XD.

The benefits of using the cutting-edge LAS 5000XD are numerous; it is now faster and more cost-effective and can precisely measure HCl concentration for correct reagent dosing, leading to better control of the abatement process.  

Tiago Morais, Industry Manager for Power Generation & Waste Management, said: “Our new and improved LAS 5000XD delivers benefits to WtE plant operators, including low maintenance and cost of ownership, and the intelligent embedded ClearPath functionality means the need for N2 or dry air purging is reduced, and complete process optimisation leads to reduced operating costs.”

It’s equipped with advanced ADLAS technology to ensure a high sensitivity and selectivity, and a robust design makes it resistant to harsh process conditions found in plant environments.
