The IFL 700 IQ is based upon the ultrasonic measuring principle, whereby the interface level is detected via the runtime of the echo. The sensor is ideal for the sludge management at waste water treatment plants. Compared to optical interface level systems, the continuous ultrasonic measurement provides important advantages regarding lower investment cost and cost of ownership, less maintenance and higher data availability.

The intelligent signal processing of the sensor provides the user most reliable data at any time for more operational reliability. The sensor is able to differentiate light sludge layers and irrelevant signals (e.g. fixed objects or moving rakes) from settled sludge. Non-desired signals can be easily masked and filtered out.

Required settings are reduced to a minimum. The ease to use system swiftly provides the first measuring results as soon as the specified tank and sensor immersion depth are entered. The defined echo profile that is shown on the controller display ensures maximum transparency.

The calibration-free sensor uses a special bubble sweeper system for automatic cleaning. The smart design and high-tech materials guarantee a safe measurement with very long maintenance intervals.

The IFL 700 IQ is designed for use with the IQ Sensor Net system. With this system WTW (Germany) has set new standards in terms of flexibility, modularity and safeness. Especially the system 2020 XT with features as bright display, graphics function, USB connection and remote control function via modern interfaces or LAN provides unique advantages.
