Reagent-free monitoring of COD in wastewater plants with the new System 282/284 controller
Oct 12 2016
COD is an established parameter for monitoring inlet and outlet of a wastewater treatment plant. With the spectral sensors from WTW, COD can be measured continuously and reagent-free, giving the operator full transparency of his outlet levels. Besides COD, the carbon parameters BOD, TOC, DOC and SAC and additionally NO3, NO2 and UVT can also be covered with the respective sensor models (e.g. CarboVis® 701 IQ).
All spectral sensors are equipped with an integrated ultrasonic cleaning for low maintenance and ownership costs. As up to five different parameters can be measured and displayed simultaneously on our new controller System 282/284, installation effort is kept to a minimum.
All measured data can be logged within the controller and transferred to PC or PLC via USB, web browser function or five different field bus protocols.
