The newest method on the unique PrimeLab 1.0 photometer, from Water-i.d. GmbH (Germany), is a 1-hour quantitative (60-106 cfu/l) and AOAC-certified legionella test, detecting only living legionella spp.

This method works with immunomagnetic particles, covered with antibodies plus a colour tracer, containing anti-bodies as well.

Because of this, incubation is not required and only living legionella spp. are detected to avoid false positive results.

The PrimeLab 1.0 photometer is Bluetooth equipped and connected to a free software and an App that allows  users to test more than 120 different methods for water testing, which can be individually selected for ease of use.

New JENCOLOR sensor technology, covering 400 wavelengths (380-780nm) simultaneously, as well as reagents made in Germany and the UK, provides utmost accuracy.
