Reagent-free Disinfectant Monitoring ensuring lower costs and reduced maintenance
Jul 11 2019
The Swan AMI Trides is a microprocessor-controlled instrument for the automatic and continuous measurement of disinfectants in potable water applications.
The AMI Trides instrument utilises innovative amperometric measurement technology for the measurement of free active chlorine, chlorine-dioxide, ozone, bromine and iodine. The optional integrated pH sensor also ensures accurate automatic calculation of free chlorine in applications where the pH of the sample may vary. With no requirements for reagents and no requirements for membrane and electrolyte replacements, the AMI Trides ensures lower whole-life costs with significantly reduced service and maintenance needs.
AMI Trides is reagentless and membrane-free thus significantly lowering operating costs. This instrument offers automatic sensor cleaning and high zero point stabiliy both of which further reduce maintenance requirements. The device’s durable platinum sensor lasts the lifetime of the instrument which improves the AMI Trides’ longevity. With its integrated pH measurement, users are assured of accurate and reliable measurements and the instrument comes on a complete panel mounted system which means that installation and start up are quick and simple.
The AMI Trides instrument is manufactured at the Swan Analytical Headquarters in Switzerland where each component is produced and assembled so that it is delivered as a complete sample panel mounted solution. Every Swan instrument is rigorously checked, tested and calibrated so that it is delivered ready for immediate operation.
