The new and intelligent ice detection sensor IDS-10 represents our latest innovation within our product range. It automatically detects icing on the sensor’s surface measuring on a real-time and reliable basis. It can be applied for all the different industries where it is important to be able to detect and measure icing, like wind power stations, aviation and road traffic control, high-voltage power lines or other civil constructions, e.g. bridges, antennas, masts or buildings. To be forced to remove the ice manually or by melting it away through heating systems is not only maintenance intensive but also very costly.
