New pressure measuring cell with integrated signal processing

JUMO’s CEROS S01 M marks the dawn of digitalization for pressure measurement technology. The pressure sensor with integrated signal processing is an active component that delivers a temperature-compensated and calibrated digital/analogue output signal for pressure and temperature values. JUMO CEROS S01 M has a compact design that makes it especially suitedfor critical installation situations.

The pressure measuring cell works with a piezoresistive measuring system. Itis available in measuring ranges from 100 mbar to 100 bar relative and from 1 to 100 bar absolute. The operating temperature lies between -40 and +125 °C. Customer-specific measuring ranges, compensation temperatures, and design types are also possible.

The pressure measuring cell is characterisedby a high level of accuracy and a fast response time. Additionally, the improved temperature stability increases the reliability of the sensor.

As the JUMO CEROS S01 M comes fully calibrated and pre-aligned, additional equipment such as climatic cabinets, pressure controllers, or calibration systems is no longer needed. This saves installation time and naturally also lowers costs.

In orderto minimise welding or installation errors, a subsequent zero point adjustment is possible. Usage is further simplified thanks to protection against overvoltage, reverse polarity, and electrostatic discharge. Due to low energy demands, the JUMO CEROS S01 can also be operated with batteries.

JUMO CEROS S01 M can, for example, be implemented in level probes, data loggers, or digital pressure gauges. The device's smooth finish allows it to also be used in hygienic areas.
