Michell Instruments (UK), the moisture and humidity sensors manufacturer, acquired the relative humidity business of the Italian Control and Automation company, Gefran SPA on 1st October 2008.
Located in Lyon, France, the relative humidity business was formerly known as Coreci S.A., and has for 25 years been a major force in the relative humidity market. The Coreci operation will continue to operate
in Lyon as a division of Michell SARL, (Paris, France).
The acquisition strengthens Michell`s position in humidity sensing technology and opens further growth opportunities for the Group of Companies. The Coreci products and sensor technology fit perfectly with
Michell`s existing relative humidity and dewpoint portfolio and its expansion strategy into other cutting edge sensing technologies.
