Fixed gas detector
A panel-mounted interface displays live gas concentrations, alarms and trend data from up to four control units, with remote access for off-site checks.
Operators managing several gas detection installations can now view live readings from up to 240 detection points on a single touchscreen, following the launch of V.Touch by gas detection specialist DALEMANS.
The interface connects to up to four DALEMANS control units at once and displays gas concentrations, alarm status and historical trends in real time. This gives facility managers, technicians and safety staff an overview of site conditions without checking each control panel individually.
V.Touch is available with a 7-inch or 10-inch display and can be mounted directly on a panel or electrical cabinet. It communicates with the control units over Ethernet using Modbus TCP, while Virtual Network Computing (VNC) allows users to access the display remotely. The system can export logs via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to support maintenance and fault-finding.
Based in Remicourt, Belgium, DALEMANS has designed V.Touch for use in industrial facilities, laboratories and buildings, bringing readings from multiple gas detection control units together in one place.
Gérald Olivier, director at DALEMANS, said: “V.Touch allows users to monitor several gas detection control units from a single screen. Having live readings, alarm information and historical trends together makes it easier to check system status and investigate issues, whether on site or remotely."
