Air monitoring

When H. Wilhelm Schaumann founded Durag Apparatebau in Hamburg (Germany) in 1948 together with two nuclear physicists, the success story of the DURAG GROUP began. Since then, the measurement technology solutions for monitoring process gases, emissions, raw gas and ambient air have set industrial standards for environmental protection. This year, the company is celebrating its 75th anniversary - and is also presenting its solutions at the CEM in Barcelona.
For example, OFCEAS technology, a direct intensity spectroscopy technique that relies on hyperreflective sample gas cells and laser source purity enhancement technology to detect trace gases at extremely low levels in a very short time. For example, hydrogen and low concentrations of gases in emissions can be measured to achieve the net zero goal. Using a low-pressure sampling system, OFCEAS is easily implemented in the process or CEM environment - with no interference, no re-zeroing or drift, and low maintenance.
In addition, DURAG GROUP experts will present solutions for extractive emission monitoring in wet gas applications. Extractive measurement systems for gas analysis usually consist of a sampling system and an analyzer, which are designed differently depending on the measurement task. Extractive mercury analyzers, for example, can also measure higher concentrations in the raw gas and different mercury species, which facilitates the evaluation and optimization of mercury reduction measures in flue gas treatment and ultimately the prevention of emissions.
DURAG GROUP's extensive product portfolio is used in industry and research for a wide range of different applications in continuous emission and process monitoring - from special optical aerosol measurement systems to gas analysis using highly sensitive laser measurement methods.
Celebrate 75 years of innovation, measurement accuracy and environmental responsibility with DURAG GROUP at this year's CEM.
