Solinst’s new Model 105 well casing and depth indicator detects metal well casing and measures total well depth using one probe. A strong magnetic assembly in the probe detects well casing, while a plunger assembly at the bottom of the probe is used to measure well depth.

The well casing and depth indicator is ideal for use during well construction, determining where metal casing starts and ends in existing well installations, and installing packers or other downhole instrumentation. Measurements are read from durable Solinst laser marked flat tape, in standard lengths up to 6000 (2000 ft.) mounted on a sturdy reel.
