Solinst (Canada) has created a video showing how their Model 425 Discrete Interval Sampler obtains a representative groundwater sample. A Discrete Interval Sampler obtains samples without the need for purging. It is pressurised to ensure no water enters during deployment and retrieval. The sampler is de-pressurized at a discrete depth to collect a sample. The Sampler is simply operated using a hand pump.
