Solinst offer instrumentation that can measure representative water samples from pre-determined levels as low as 1,200 metres/4,000 feet. The 425 D deep sampling discrete interval sampler operates on the hydraulic principal, once the sample is at the required depth the sealed sampler is pressurised to enable the water to enter, the sampler is then sealed and vented before being returned to the surface. This ensures that only the sample from the chosen depth is taken making it an ideal instrument for taking measurements below floating product layers – or for sampling the actual product.
