This innovative solution for optical dissolved oxygen measurement is designed by Sentronic (Germany) for harsh and demanding environmental conditions with non-corroding POM and with threads for easy mounting of various accessories.

Based on the optical principle of fluorescence quenching, SentrOxy WQM dissolved oxygen sensors combine high measurement performance with low maintenance and operating costs.

With its focus on aquaculture management, SentrOxy WQM is ready for implementation in water treatment plants, sea and land based fish farming, open-pen production facilities, recirculation systems, hatchery operations, etc.

The precise sensor optics allow the implementation of two separate optical measurement channels which take measurements in different areas of the same sensitive sensor spot. This innovative and patented principle allows for real-time referencing. This makes your measurement much more reliable and informs you about mechanical defects of the membrane or measurement falsification.

The solid oxygen sensitive sensor spot contains no fragile membranes or electrolyte and is part of a robust replaceable cap. Only having to replace or clean the sensitive measuring cap from time to time minimises service time and costs. Each sensor is furnished with pre-loaded calibration coefficients.

An additional transmitter is not necessary. The sensors can be connected directly to a process control system by using the digital RS485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol, or the two 4 (0) – 20 mA analogue outputs including a watchdog function and different alarm levels. A trigger input makes a simple adjustment possible by connect this appropriate wire to the ground.
