Cooper Environmental (USA) will soon be launching the first commercially available Continuous Multi-Metals Water Analyser, the Xact 920. The instrument utilises energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) to simultaneously quantify metals content in a water sample in a near real-time manner. The photo depicted shows the existing proof of concept system that was successfully demonstrated in the effluent stream of a mine water treatment facility. Work is now being done to reduce the footprint and cost of the system for a commercial launch in 2017.  Drop by to see Cooper Environmental at WWEM 2016 on stand 66 to learn more.
