Water/Wastewater
All your water quality measurement needs – in one compact instrument
May 09 2022
Myron L’s 900 Series provides water quality managers with all their measurement needs in a single, compact instrument. Whether in industrial, commercial or municipal locations this 1/4 DIN, user-intuitive instrument will provide simultaneous and precise readings of 7 vital measurement parameters (2 conductivity/resistivity/TDS/salinity, 1 pre-amplified pH/ORP, 1 BNC pH/ORP; 1 0-20/4-20 mA; 1 RTD temperature; and 1 flow/pulse, with percent rejection available as a derived value.
Operators will find this device easy to configure thanks to on-screen prompts; the brightly coloured LCD background instantly and clearly displays solution status. It is also very simple to perform both wet and electronic calibrations and this instrument includes operator and administrator password protection to avert tampering. In addition, operators can also rely on the first-class technical support offered by Myron L for the instrument’s full lifetime.
The 900 Series’ outputs include up to 3 relays; 2 remote alarms; 1 x 0-20/4-20 mA; 1 x 0-5/0-10 VDC; and 1 x RS-485 ASCII Serial Output. Relays output to any operator-supplied control equipment needing up to 250V each and can trigger on any input parameter. 0-5/0-10 VDC is scalable for optimising resolution and can output to a recorder, PLC, SCADA system, etc. 0-1 VDC is possible when using the optional resistor. The 0-20/4-20 mA input enables user-defined 0 to full scale values and units of measure for an extensive selection of sensor types, while the 0-20/4-20 mA output can transmit a signal for any input parameter. A loss of flow will trigger the flow switch input to disable all relay outputs. User-specified hysteresis value will prevent chatter. Alternatively, operators can simply allow the instrument to automatically determine it for them.
