Simple, precise and economical water quality monitoring

01 Apr, 2026

The 900 Series multi-parameter water quality monitor/controller from Myron L® Company does the work of seven separate instruments and is simple to operate and install. Users can easily monitor and control several vital water/wastewater parameters with the same level of precision that Myron L are renowned for. A user-friendly LCD touchscreen graphical user interface and pluggable terminal blocks make installation and configuration a quick and simple job.

Operators can get a full, real-time picture of water quality thanks to continuous readings from up to seven different inputs:  pre-amplified pH/ORP, flexible 0-20/4-20 mA, RTD temperature, flow/pulse, BNC pH/ORP and tow for conductivity/resistivity/TDS/salinity; % rejection as a derived value is optionally available. Conductivity/TDS measurements can be selected from one of three pre-programmed solution modes: potassium chloride (KCl), sodium chloride (NaCl), or Myron L’s own 442 Natural Water™ Standard, or a “User” solution mode based on a known solution can be programmed to maximise precision.

Temperature compensation is set automatically at 25°C; this can be deactivated by the operator if necessary. The 900 Series’ pH/ORP input channel operates with Myron L pre-amplified pH and ORP sensors. These sensors feature precision circuitry that enhances accuracy and allows sensor application over further distances. The device’s 0-20/4-20 mA input enables operator-defined 0 to full scale values and units of measurement for a wide array of different types of sensors. Electronic or wet calibration is a simple and fast operation.

End-users can activate control equipment and audible signals automatically and continuously report and record solution data with flexible outputs. This instrument includes up to 3 relays, 2 remote alarms, a 0-20/4-20 mA signal, a 0-5/0-10 VDC signal and a RS-485 ASCII serial signal. Relay outputs to all operator-supplied control equipment needing up to 250V each and can trigger on any input parameter. The 0-20/4-20 mA output can transmit a signal for any input parameter. 0-5/0-10 VDC can be scaled to optimise resolution and can output to a recorder, PLC, SCADA system, etc. 0-1 VDC is possible with an optional resistor.
