The companies MACHEREY-NAGEL and Skalar joined forces and designed the new SP2000series, a robotic analyzer for fully automated water analysis in the laboratory.

This water analyser processes a variety of NANOCOLOR® tube tests and automates all the necessary handling steps of the photometric test kit procedure such as sample pipetting, (de)-capping, addition of reagents, mixing, heating, cooling and measurement. The flexibility and versatility of the test kit platform is for example reflected in the possibility to process from 24 to 336 test tubes at once by using different test tube racks. The instrument can be configured for the analysis of one test kit application or for multiple test kit applications per sequence such as combinations of COD, total phosphate, total nitrogen and others.

Since 1911 MACHEREY-NAGEL has represented high quality, innovation and reliability with products for Filtration, Rapid Tests, Water Analysis, Chromatography and Bioanalysis. The Dutch instrument manufacturer Skalar has built up its reputation since 1965 manufacturing a range of automated chemistry analyzers.
