The Digital Flow Sensor by Audiowell (China) is a high dynamic ultrasonic flow sensor which directly outputs digital signals of water flow and is mainly used in ultrasonic water meters and heat meters. In addition to the basic functions of traditional ultrasonic flow sensors it contains an integrated signal processing circuit. Therefore digital signals such as instant flow and cumulative flow can be read from it directly. By fitting this sensor to a specific tube segment and combining it with additional modules such as LCD display and wireless communication, a complete ultrasonic water meter can be made in a convenient and customised way.

Special features are: passive wakeup with active alert for abnormal status (empty pipe, leakage, transducer failure etc.) and high adaptability for various pipe sizes. The Digital Flow Sensor is ideal for customised flowmeter development.

Audiowell will be exhibiting at SENSOR+TEST 2016, Hall 5, Stand 5-378.
