New wireless communication options to enhance multi-parameter water monitoring probe

29 Aug, 2024

Aquaread recently introduced Bluelink, a Bluetooth adapter that operators can fit to the end of their very popular Aquaprobe multi-parameter water quality probe’s cable, thereby superseding the Aquameter. Bluelink connects to the end of the Aquaprobe’s cable, includes a rechargeable battery and provides Bluetooth connectivity. A BlueLink mobile application is available on the PlayStore and App Store. The app will enable end-users to observe live data from the probe, calibrate all the probe’s sensors, allocate the sockets when extra sensors are fitted to the probe and log data automatically.

Version 2 of the App will provide the capability to communicate directly with Aquaread’s new AS-PRO sonde with integrated Bluetooth connectivity. Users will be able to customise the sonde’s logging regime as well as download data from its memory. Version 3 of the app will feature a low flow sampling wizard to facilitate the automation of this widely used methodology thereby making it easy to obtain the right data at the right time. Version 4 will provide extra functionality for Aquaread’s Leveline range with the ability to set up logging, calibrate EC and download data from multiple loggers.
