Determination of sulphide in landfill leachate is critical for water quality and the most accurate and robust method is the use of titration. The titration method is the most accurate, requires no calibration and is impervious to solids in the sample. Typically this
is carried out either in the site or remote laboratory leading to a time delay between sampling and awareness of a pollution incident.
The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer fromApplikon Analytical BV (The Netherlands) is designed to bridge the gap between the process and the laboratory by carrying out sulphide titration automatically at the discharge point rather than requiring samples to be transported to the laboratory.
The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer will provide analysis for sulphide at approximately 10 minute intervals and report data in the required format for compliance reporting. Housed in an IP65 cabinet the ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer is suitable for the industrial environment and offers robust sample handling for even the most 'dirty' sample.
