Chlorine is used in many industrial processes and requires careful control and analysis during production and discharge. Typically higher concentrations of chlorine are determined by taking a sample to the laboratory and carrying out a titration. The delay in receiving results can lead to process delays or out of consent discharges taking place. Moving the titration to the process environment provides much more rapid data and improves control.
The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer from Applikon Analytical BV (The Netherlands) is designed to bridge the gap between the process and the laboratory by carrying out the analysis on-line. At the heart of the analyzer is a precision burette and volumetric sampling system to provide laboratory accuracy within a robust, reliable analyzer. The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer will provide analysis for chlorine at approximately 10 minute intervals and report data in the required format for total automated control. Housed in an IP65 cabinet the ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer can be mounted within the process environment without further protection.
