The Ser[LOG] as a data acquisition and distribution unit completes the wide portfolio from LAMBRECHT (Germany) meteo. The measured data are used to monitor and secure weather sensitive working and living areas.
It was developed because of the demand for more meteorological measuring comfort, more flexibility and higher safety of analysis of data from weather stations.
Thanks to his modularity the Ser[LOG] is extremely flexible practicable and scalable. The basic module can be extended with up to three analogue measuring units in serial connection. Basic unit and analogue extended unit can even be installed decentralised with up to 1000 meter radius separated from each other.
The Ser[LOG] was developed as a ’’communication talent“. It supports: wired communication/ PSTN (’’traditional“ communication), IP based communication like LAN/WAN, mobile communication (GPRS up to LTE), wireless (radio), and data media (for example USB-memory-sticks).
The system is not only communicative, but also versatile. It masters diverse sensor logs for example Modbus RTU + TCP, SDI-12 and NMEA. Available for data transmission are SNAP, FTP, email, SMS etc. In “Push-Mode” the Ser[LOG] is sending its data to different defined recipients at predetermined times, intervals or events (e.g. alarms). As a special feature Ser[LOG] can control external Modbus (TCP) relay units.
It meets the requirements for meteorological services, application in rough, industrial environment, deep sea shipping and agricultural farming. Because of its adaptability to different costumer requirements, important meteorological data for companies can be analysed immediately and in real time.
