Gas Detection
Sensor+Test 2024 visitors to have the opportunity to view world-class gas-sensing precision firsthand
May 03 2024
Sensorix will be exhibiting their cutting-edge German industrial safety monitoring technology at the upcoming Sensor+Test exhibition taking place in Nuremberg from 11th to 13th June. Visitors to stand 1-102 in Hall 1 will be able to discuss their specific requirements with a team of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience in gas sensor technology and applications.
Sensorix, based in Bonn, is an independent developer and manufacturer of electrochemical sensors used for measuring standard and exotic toxic gases with precision and efficiency. The company was recently ISO 9001:2015 certified and is renowned globally for its exceptional levels of quality and service as well as its dependability in demanding industrial safety applications.
Sensorix offers two primary product lines: gas sensors for OEM fixed and portable gas detectors and the Satellix range, which are used specifically as replacement plug-and-play sensors for Satellite XT transmitters. The Sensorix range includes sensors for 37 target gases, one of the most extensive gas sensor ranges in the world today. Unlike other sensors, electrochemical sensors undergo a chemical reaction with their target gas, which then activates an electrical signal in proportion to the level of target gas in the vicinity of the detector.
Sensorix recently added long-term (LT) sensors to their portfolio. In the new sensors, ionic liquids are used as electrolytes which, as organic salts, keep their liquid state over a wide temperature range. The ionic liquids undergo extremely low vapour pressure and high thermostability which makes them ideal for use as electrolytes in electrochemical gas sensors. These new sensors are therefore perfect for use in harsh industrial environments over an extended period.
Sensorix will showcase their LT hydride sensors with ionic liquids for OEMs, LT ozone sensors with ionic liquids, LT hydride sensors with ionic liquids for Satellite XT owners, and lead-free oxygen sensors for Satellite XT owners at the upcoming Sensor+Test fair. Visitors can also find out how Sensorix can provide a customised sensor format, or adaptation suitable to their specific application.
Sensorix is happy to work with customers who require a unique sensor that is not currently available on the market. Therefore, in cases where special sensor adaptations are required to suit your gas detector, the Sensorix team of experts will be on hand during the show to discuss your needs.
