25 Jul, 2025

Sensorix GmbH is pleased to welcome experienced sensor developer Dr Rolf Eckhardt to their team of electrochemical gas sensor specialists. With over 20 years of industry experience - including roles at Sensoric, MSA, and Dräger - he brings extensive expertise in gas sensor development at Sensorix.

His knowledge and many years of experience are expected to play a key role in expanding Sensorix product portfolio and further developing existing sensor ranges. “The fact that we consistently attract top-level experts to Sensorix shows me that we are definitely on the right track,” said Dr Andreas König, General Manager.

Dr Rolf Eckhardt believes his contribution to a small, steadily growing company like Sensorix will add significant value, especially in driving the implementation of innovative solutions. “I see great potential to establish a market standard with this experienced team and the high-quality sensors - one that other manufacturers may one day look to,” added the new sensor developer at Sensorix.

Sensorix already offers a wide range of sensors for gas detection devices used across various sectors - from industrial safety to semiconductor processes. The Sensorix team is currently working on several projects to further enhance the existing portfolio. These developments, which are scheduled to launch this year, will strengthen their market position and effectively meet the evolving needs of their customers.
