Gases have always been sources of greatest danger underground. Mining-specific terms for the various hazard situations, such as firedamp or blackdamp, can be found in almost every language.

Since its foundation, GfG has been committed to the health and safety of miners. The new Polytector III G999M, with its ability to monitor up to 7 gases, successfully continues this tradition.

Designed for demanding conditions underground, the G999M multi-gas detector not only offers state-of-the-art gas detection technology, but also integrated safety functions such as a pump to evaluate confined spaces and a radio module to transmit alarms and measured values to the team leader or the control centre. It goes without saying that it comes with the necessary M1 Ex zone 0 certification.
