The CC33 transmitter monitors combustible gases and vapors up to the lower explosion limit (LEL) in Ex zones and very demanding conditions. It is available with a housing made of painted aluminum housing and 10 mm bulletproof glass or, for applications requiring an unpainted housing, with a in a stainless steel version with even stronger bulletproof glass (15 mm).

To ensure effective measurements, our CC33 uses catalytic combustion and the stack effect: openings in the housing let fresh air reach the sensor more quickly, resulting in faster response times and consequently faster alarms.

Communication as you need it

An important aspect to consider when selecting a transmitter is its range of communication options. The CC33 excels in this, as it can not only use the analog industry standard (4-20 mA) and digital RS-485 (Modbus) signals, but also our patented ACDC technology. ACDC communication allows you to use existing 3-wire cables to transmit additional digital data that goes beyond the mere measured values and error notifications.

Integrate it into your gas detection system or use it as a standalone solution

You can either connect your CC33 transmitter to one of GfG’s controllers for centralized evaluation of all measurements and alarms as well as the initiation of safety measures, or use it as a standalone solution. This is particularly useful for separate, secluded areas.

The CC33 has a backlit color display which indicates the measured values as well as LEDs for visualization of statuses and alarms. Optionally, three internal relays can be freely programmed to trigger additional local alarm devices, such as warning signs, flashing lights, audible alarms or other safety measures. The transmitter can also be equipped with an Ex-proof buzzer for loud alarm signals.

Easy and economical servicing

Smart sensors ensure that your service and maintenance work is done quickly and easily while simultaneously minimizing your operating costs.

Any servicing can be done with a magnetic pen, which comes with the significant benefit of not having to open the housing – everything is done entirely non-intrusive.
