Gas Detection
Chlorine Sensing Made Easy
Mar 20 2016
The measurement of chlorine in industrial applications is well known to be challenging, in part to the difficulties in handling the gas but primarily due to the poor performance of existing chlorine gas sensors. DD Scientific have recently launched an electrochemical sensor which boasts market leading performance, simplifying the measurement of chlorine across a range of market verticals. The sensor uses innovative chemistry to provide a highly repeatable measurement of the gas concentration and is particularly robust to overload concentrations. The sensor reaches a meaningful output in a very short period of time and is able to recover equally quickly.
The sensor has been launched in two packages; a 32mm diameter package optimised for fixed sensing applications, a smaller 20mm diameter package allows the use of the sensor in portable life safety instruments.
