Exhibitor registration opens for 2027 occupational safety and health trade fair in Düsseldorf

21 Jul, 2026

Düsseldorf will host the international trade fair for occupational safety and health from 19–22 October 2027, bringing together exhibitors, experts and enterprises from around the world under the theme "People Matter".

Exhibitor registration opened on 16 June 2026. Companies and organisations are invited to present their approach to safety and health at work, and to sustainable prevention, to an international expert audience.

The event responds to a period of significant change in the world of work. Digitalisation, artificial intelligence, automation, demographic shifts, new forms of work and the effects of climate change are all creating new challenges for employers. The fair will address these developments directly, with a particular focus on the connection between people, technology and the working environment, and on circular-economy approaches to occupational safety.

Daniel Feische, Director of A+A and the Occupational Safety and Health Portfolio, said: "A+A is the international meeting point for the occupational safety sector. The success of the previous event – attracting some 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries and around 67,000 trade visitors from 150 nations – underscores its global reach. It provides business with the ideal platform for presenting innovations, making international contacts and tapping into new markets. We look forward to welcoming the sector to Düsseldorf again in 2027."

Visitors will be able to see personal protective equipment, wearables, exoskeletons, digital assistance systems, AI-assisted applications, new materials and workwear on display, alongside live features including the EXO PARK, the A+A Trend Forum, and demonstrations covering fire protection and emergency management. A fashion show will also feature, showing current trends in workwear and corporate fashion.

Stefan Brück, Chief Executive Officer of the Uvex Group and chairman of the A+A advisory board, said: "A+A is the global event in the PPE sector and has now developed into a brand in its own right. We plan our innovation roadmap accordingly and meet customers here from throughout the world; it is the most important event every two years."

Alongside the trade fair, the International A+A Congress will mark its 40th edition in 2027, organised by the Federal Association for Occupational Safety and Health ("Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit" – Basi). Under the theme "Prevention Secures Stability – Occupational Safety as a Key to Companies' Crisis Resilience", the Congress will address digitalisation, new working processes, skills development and the international prevention strategy VISION ZERO.

Dr Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi, said: "Occupational safety is not a cost factor but a stability factor. Companies that invest in prevention promote their performance and their employees' health – in everyday life as much as in times of crisis."
