Product Family Gains Mercury Analysers
Mar 20 2015
Teledyne CETAC (USA) QuickTrace Mercury Analyzers are now part of the Teledyne Leeman Labs (USA) Hg product family. Jeff Forsberg, prior Teledyne CETAC Mercury product line manager, has assumed responsibility for this new product family and will be working for Teledyne Leeman Labs. This change combines Teledyne Leeman Lab’s well known Hydra II Mercury Analyzers with the QuickTrace Mercury Analyzers. The two product groups will be unified into one comprehensive mercury product line under the Teledyne Leeman Lab’s brand.
“This product line merger was a natural fit,” said Jeff Forsberg, Mercury Product Line Manager for Teledyne Leeman Labs. “Both companies are known for producing high-quality Mercury instruments with over 44 years combined experience. Our knowledge, enthusiasm, scientific curiosity and technological innovation enable us to provide customers with the quality and reliability that our instruments are known for.”
QuickTrace customers will benefit from Teledyne Leeman Lab’s superior on-site and depot repair service and support. Teledyne Leeman Labs has sales and service subsidiaries around the world to provide customers an experienced team that speaks their language.
The new consolidated product line will consist of the QuickTrace M-8000 Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence (CVAFS) system, the Hydra IIAA Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption (CVAAS) and the QuickTrace M-7600 CVAAS, all for liquid samples. The Hydra IIC which is the ideal analyser for solid to semisolid samples without pretreatment, will remain in the portfolio as the industry standard.
The M-7500 and M-6100 will continue to be serviced and supported by Teledyne CETAC until further notice. Teledyne CETAC users that have a M-7600 or a M-8000 are encouraged to submit their information so they do not have any disruptions in product support.
