The new, cost-optimised industrial cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems excel wherever the essentials matter. With their small size, the cameras can be easily integrated into a wide variety of image processing systems. During development, the company placed great emphasis on a cost-efficient design. This makes the models perfect for price-sensitive and high-volume applications where simple camera requirements are needed. This helps lower the barriers to entry for camera-based automation and makes it easier to explore the potential of machine vision technology.

They are used, for example, as eyes on the production line, for visual support of robots, in autonomously navigating vehicles or other applications in the field of automation. Like all IDS products, they are characterised by the combination of "Made in Germany" quality, long-term availability and excellent user-friendliness. Due to optimised and stabilising supply chains, the company now offers these industrial cameras with USB3 interface at significantly improved conditions starting at 149 Euros.

uEye XCP: the smallest industrial camera with housing and C-mount

The models in this camera family measure only 29 x 29 x 17 mm (W/H/L) and, thanks to their zinc die-cast housing and screw-type USB Micro-B connector, they can be used in a wide range of applications in both industrial and non-industrial areas. Their C-mount adapter allows the use of common lens sizes and ensures a favourable system price.

uEye XLE: particularly versatile for every application

Do you need single-board cameras with or without C-/CS-Mount or S-Mount and USB Type-C interface for your embedded vision solution? Or do you prefer models with coated plastic housing? Here you can freely select the suitable variant for your application. Whether in small device construction, measurement technology, for transportation or quality inspection tasks – the modern camera family is suitable for a wide range of applications.

uEye XLS: tiny board-level cameras for embedded vision

With uEye XLS, IDS introduces the smallest board-level cameras in its portfolio. Excellent image quality without excessive heat generation means they are perfect for embedded applications. The industrial cameras are available with Micro-B and with or without C/CS or S-mount lens holders. Suitable for both volume projects and price-sensitive applications!

IDS Imaging Development Systems was founded in 1997 and - with more than 25 years of experience - is a major player in the machine vision market. The headquarters are in Obersulm, Germany, with additional branches and representative offices in Europe, the USA and Asia. IDS cameras offer an almost unlimited range of applications and are used in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in the automotive, packaging and printing industries as well as in the food sector.
