Galltech Mess have added to their product series of Plug-and-Measure transmitters, introducing a digital R232 output for a product group of humidity temperature sensors.

This means that the transmitters are now networkable and equipped for remote monitoring via the Internet. In this group, we not only offer transmitters for industrial applications (up to 200°C or 25 bar)
but also a rod-shaped standard sensor with a sub-D jack: The PM15PS is therefore suitable for both integration into systems and also for local applications, e.g. for monitoring measurement data from a laptop.
For simple monitoring applications, the measurement data sent from the transmitter by ASCII protocol can be read directly using the HyperTerminal (part of the Windows operating system).

As an alternative to that, Galltec+Mela (Germany) offer the software "Visual PMU" as a freeware-download for the sensors on their webpage. With Visual PMU, both data logger and data export functions are available.

The relative humidity, dew point and temperature can be displayed.

The Plug-and-Measure series was developed to optimise the calibration of components that is often necessary on a regular basis in production systems.

The transmitters in this product series are equipped with so-called Plug-and-Measure Units (PMU). These factory calibrated sensor heads can be easily exchanged when calibration or servicing is required.
