The intrinsically safe humidity and temperature sensors
with ATEX licence made by Galltec+Mela Germany) are certified
according to Directive 94/9/EC for potentially explosive
areas in the categories 2 G, 1/2 G and 2 D.
The sensors with an analogue output signal 4...20 mA
have been designed electrically so that feed transmitters
of up to 24 V can be used. Standard measurement
ranges of the sensors are 0...100 %rh and 20...+80 °C.
Special versions are available on request.
The inherently safe instruments made by Galltec+Mela
can be used for a wide range of applications thanks
to their certifi cation and in addition to that, offer a real
alternative to other often very costly transmitters for use
in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere.
