The Electronic Temperature Instruments (UK) wireless digital rain gauge will indicate electronically the amount of rain fallen in a day, week, month or the accumulated rainfall. Simply place the rain collector, supplied withmesh cover, outside and place the digital monitor inside and the three displays will indicate the rainfall, the date and the time (12 or 24-hour clock). The monitor is powered by two AAA batteries

with a life expectancy of approximately eight months. The rain collector is powered by two AA batteries with a life expectancy of one year.

The rain gauge is a useful tool as the measurement of precipitation is an important element in efforts to maintain the water balance, essential to gardeners and growers in general.
