New Waterproof Thermometer Launched

The AquaTemp waterproof thermometer from Electronic Temperature Instruments (UK), is simple to operate, reliable and built to last. Housed in a robust, dust and waterproof white ABS case offering IP66/67 protection, the Aquatemp utilises the very latest electronic circuitry, designed for reliability and ease of use. The thermometer measures temperature over the range of -199.9 to 400 °C with a 0.1 °C resolution, auto-ranging to 1 °C resolution over the range of 300 to 400 °C.

The AquaTemp features a large easy to read, LCD display with max/min, °C/°F, hold, open circuit, low battery indication and an optional backlight. The unit also incorporates an auto-power off facility that automatically turns the instrument off after ten minutes, maximising battery life.

Each unit is housed in a durable, ABS case that has an integrated rubber seal to ensure complete water tightness and helps to reduce the possibility of damage in harsh environments. The instrument can be submerged or washed under a running tap, which makes it ideal for kitchens and food processing applications where cleaning is paramount.

The AquaTemp is supplied complete with a type T thermocouple 177-200 plug mounted penetration probe that incorporates an easy to use Lumberg screw-locking type connector. In addition ETI offers an extensive range of fast response interchangeable type T thermocouple and thermistor temperature probes, suitable for a variety of different applications. A protective silicone boot complete with foot stand and wall mounting magnet is also available as an optional accessory.
