Bibby Scientific (UK) is set to showcase all the latest innovations from Stuart, Jenway and Techne at ACHEMA, the world forum for the chemical, environmental and biotechnology industries. Running from 11th to 15th May in Frankfurt, ACHEMA 2009 offers a truly global platform expected to attract 4,000 exhibitors and 180,000 visitors from 100 countries.

Stuart equipment on show at ACHEMA will include many new products: the SMP40 automatic melting point apparatus and SMP30 manual unit; SI500 shaking incubator and a range of homogenisers. Hotplates, shakers, the SA8 variable speed vortex mixer and SC6 colony counter will also be featured.

The Jenway spotlight will be on the new 6315, 6715 and 6800 spectrophotometers and new ranges of electrochemistry laboratory meters and flame photometers. The 62 series fluorimeters will also be featured. The Techne team will bring the new NoICE and BLoCKICE; Tecal 700 calibrator; new TC-4000, TC-5000, TC-3000G and TC-3000X thermal cyclers; as well as showcasing DB-4D and DB-2TC Dri-Block® heaters.

Chris O’Connor, CEO, Bibby Scientific, explains the significance of the company’s presence at the Frankfurt event, ‘As ACHEMA only takes place every three years this will be the first major exhibition we have attended since Bibby Scientific was founded and we have so many exciting new products to show. We are expecting particular interest in the revolutionary Stuart automatic melting point, Jenway’s new spectrophotometers and the highly innovative Techne NoICE, but all the Bibby products we are taking to ACHEMA are outstanding examples representing the strength of our world-leading equipment portfolio.’
