Air quality monitoring equipment generates large quantities of data. Processing this data and providing it to the general public has always been a problem. NewGPRS technology now means that you can display data from your air quality monitoring stations in real time over the internet.
Unlike traditional dial up systems, GPRS has always-on functionality. It ismore efficient and cheaper than dial up systems that charge you
for time connected. It is also possible to route the data directly to an IP address so that it can be accessed via the internet.
The Signal StreetBox is a low-cost, pre-calibrated and easy to maintain pollution monitor ideal for the requirements of city municipalities and other organisations to monitor, in real time, the effects of traffic
pollution in city centres. Combined with GPRS capability it is a robust and flexible system for short and long term air quality monitoring
projects and traffic control.
