In 1973 SKC produced the first commercial sorbent tube, and still remains on the leading edge of sorbent tube technology with an extensive range of sorbent tubes to meet your requirements.

Our sorbent tube range includes tubes that can collect vapours and dust simultaneously, especially useful for monitoring pesticides.

In addition to the standard tubes SKC are here to help you with those special applications. We will manufacture the custom sorbent tubes you need including sorbent tubes for solvent extraction and thermal desorption.

SKC sorbent tubes are specifically designed to meet the needs of a huge range of analytical methods for monitoring and assessing exposure, and are validated to strict protocols developed by regulatory bodies such as NIOSH.

The variety and choice is still increasing for new applications, and at SKC alone we estimate well in excess of 10 million tubes have passed through production over the years. Typical applications include industrial or occupational hygiene, environmental monitoring, process monitoring and forensics.

SKC offer gas and vapour sampling pump kits including ATEX certified versions along with a full range of accessories to complement our sorbent tubes.

Visit the SKC online hazard database at www.skcltd.com and input your hazard to find out the sampling method choices and details of the equipment required.  Alternatively, for further information or to discuss your application call us today on 01258 480188 or email [email protected]
