The nCLD AL3/8555 is the world's first three-channel chemiluminescence analyser capable of simultaneously measuring NO, NO₂, NO_x, and NH₃ in a single compact unit. With a minimum detectable concentration of 0.4 ppb and zero-point noise below 0.2 ppb, it delivers the sensitivity that ambient air monitoring demands.

Three Channels, One Instrument

Traditional NO_x analysers operate on one or two channels. The AL3/8555 adds a dedicated third reaction chamber for amines and NH₃, enabling simultaneous four-parameter measurement without compromising the performance of any individual channel. Measuring ranges are freely selectable from 100 ppb to 50,000 ppb for NO_x, and up to 5,000 ppb for NH₃. Lag time is under 3 seconds, rise time under 1 second.

The measurement principle is based on the TÜV/QAL1-certified nCLD AL2 and conforms to EN 14211, the European standard for ambient NO₂/NO_x measurement, simplifying regulatory compliance for operators running approved monitoring networks.

Flexible Deployment

The nCLD AL3/8555 operates at ambient inlet pressure and fits equally into a 19" rack, a roadside cabinet, or a mobile laboratory. No external supply gas is required for ozone generation. Automatic calibration runs quickly, with all data stored and accessible remotely at any time.

Familiar Interface, Proven Architecture

Like all instruments in the ECO PHYSICS nCLD family, the AL3/8555 features a 7" touchscreen for straightforward operation and data management. The modular architecture - each component with its own CPU communicating via BUS - reduces wiring complexity and makes the unit virtually maintenance-free in continuous operation. Full connectivity via USB, LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, and RS232 ensures integration into any monitoring network.
