Wi.Tec-Sensorik GmbH offers highly advanced NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) gas measuring modules. NDIR works by measuring the amount of infrared radiation absorbed by a specific gas molecule, this method provides a high level of accuracy and stability. This enables accurate and long-term stable measurements of nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions, which are becoming more critical, due to their high global warming potential, which is 265 times higher than that of carbon dioxide (CO2). These modules can measure N2O down to the lower ppm range (0-100ppm) and up to high vol% ranges (e.g., 0-10 vol%).
Wi.Tec modules have the flexibility to measure up to three different gases along with oxygen in one module. Popular combinations include N2O, CO, CH4 or N2O, CO2, CH4; the oxygen concentration can also be measured using an electrochemical gas sensor integrated into the module (ranges like 0-20 vol.% O2).
A variety of housing options are available and suited to various process applications. Added features include thermostatic control (e.g., 55°C) and stainless-steel tubing which can be critical in specific industrial settings to ensure the accuracy and longevity of the module.
Wi.Tec-Sensorik’s modules provide a comprehensive solution for organisations that need to monitor emissions, especially those from combustion processes, agriculture, or wastewater treatment facilities. The combination of precision, stability, multi-gas detection, and various housing options makes it the ideal choice for these demanding applications.
