Held this October 2–6 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, WEFTEC 2010 offers 112 technical sessions, 34 workshops, six facility tours, and access to the largest annual water quality exhibit in the world: 1,000 exhibitors covering 270,000 square feet of exhibit space.

WEFTEC 2010 has something for everyone, whether you are an engineer, treatment plant operator, elected official, consultant, or the owner of your own company. Major focus topics include Utility Management, Water Recycling and Reuse, Global Perspectives, Collection Systems, and Sustainability & Energy Management. For those who need to obtain educational credits, WEFTEC 2010 offers up to 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), 17.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs), in addition to Contact Hours. CEUs can be earned by attending pre-conference workshops, held Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3. You may earn PDHs by attending various technical sessions and the Opening General Session which will be held on Monday, October 4. Finally, earn contact hours by spending time on the ever-expanding exhibit floor.

The conference venue, New Orleans, Louisiana, offers world-class cuisine, music, historic landmarks, sporting events, and cultural hotspots. Getting around town is a breeze due to the complimentary WEFTEC Shuttle Bus, and the close proximity to downtown.
