TCS Biosciences has recently been appointed as the UK representative for TECTA-PDS instrumentation for automating water testing for E. coli and Total Coliforms. The TECTA-PDS (Pathogen Detection System) automated microbial detection system, TECTA™ B16, is the only USEPA approved automated method for drinking water compliance testing and provides the fastest time to detection while also being the easiest test to conduct. The portability and complete testing capabilities include interpretation of results and immediate access to full reports via email.
With the TECTA™ B16 instrument, E. coli and Total Coliform results can be attained in 2 to 18 hours, depending on the contamination level. This instrument will alert the operator of positive sample results via tablet, PC or smart phone, as soon as they happen. The TECTA B16’s patented polymer partition technology makes it a very simple, accurate and flexible device that will take the hassle and worry out of E. coli and Total Coliform detection.
