Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW)
2 min read

Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW), will take place at the Taipei World Trade Center between 14th - 16th October, with its online exhibition also starting on the same day, but extending through to November 12th. This is Taiwan’s only trade exhibition and conference dedicated to the water industry.

Visitors from across the globe will be able to visit the virtual booths and discover some of the state-of-the-art digitisation services on offer. They can view videos and explore the 3D booths to learn more about each exhibitor’s products and services from the comfort and safety of their own home or workplace. TIWW will enable visitors and exhibitors to interact unfettered by time and physical restrictions. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to arrange face-to-face meetings or interact in real time text chats, so TIWW will truly offer a water trade exhibition that never sleeps!

Currently the exhibition has booths from important Taiwanese suppliers including Appro Technology, Chuan Yi Electric Machinery Co. Ltd. ITRI along with important national professional bodies such as the Taiwan Environmental Manufacturers Association. The Water Resources Association will coordinate a pavilion showcasing a number of innovative exhibitors and hosting the TIWW International Forums at the event. In the meantime, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council is organising specialist seminars, hosting product launches and one-to-one and government procurement meetings.

A focus on reclaimed water

Estimates predict that the Taiwanese reclaimed water sector will be worth in excess of 100 billion Taiwanese dollars. Climate change will probably extend the duration of dry seasons, so reclaimed water will be a vital market for the island. TIWW will enable local and international businesses to become part of this significant business opportunity, whilst showcasing Taiwanese enterprises to the global water markets. This event will integrate the supply chain to every level of the water sector and offer a simple, one-stop procurement opportunity for buyers and decision makers across the world.

Tens of thousands of visitors, from across the globe, are anticipated to visit either the live event in Taipei or the digital forum. Exhibitors will have a unique opportunity to meet and talk to local buyers from Taiwan as well as the rest of Asia face-to-face or online.
