Online TOC analysis meets new methods of communication

The Shimadzu TOC-4200 online analyzer offers new functionality providing a wider range of potential applications. This new generation enables the use of new modes of communication, such as web-based monitoring from any network-connected computer in the world. Modbus two-way digital enables controlling two-way communication for multiple devices over a single integrated signal line.

Eco mode operation and reduced maintenance costs

The eco mode is a specific function adding value through more efficient online and offline measurement. Furthermore, it reduces consumables and waste while cutting maintenance costs through Shimadzu's unique multifunctional sample processing injection system. When the replacement periods approach, the TOC-4200 gives notification through the communication methods, thereby preventing measurement interruption.

Various kits expand scope of applications

Highly specialized kits are available as options to extend the TOC-4200’s capabilities. The high-sensitivity kit enables measurements of samples with very low TOC concentrations, such as public drinking water. The high-salt sample combustion tube kit significantly increases the period between maintenance by about 10 times. Adding the TN measurement option permits total nitrogen (TN) measurement with catalytic combustion and chemiluminescence detection.
