The Sentry, from QCL (Quadrachem Laboratories Ltd), uses unique bio-electrode sensors to offer real-time monitoring of wastewater treatment to enhance plant performance.

While other sensors will analyse parameters such as pH, redox, or VFA (Volatile Fatty Acid) levels to monitor the wastewater treatment process, the Sentry measures microbial metabolic activity of exoelectrogenic bacteria.

The Sentry therefore enables operators of wastewater treatment plants to observe their process, quantifying biological composition within the system and improving their level of regulatory compliance and efficiency proactively.
