Pulsar Measurement recently launched the PTFM 6.1 portable transit time flow meter, for challenging flow applications in industrial locations. The PTFM 6.1 unit is a significantly improved version of Pulsar’s PTFM 1.0 model; new and more powerful signal processing hardware has been added, along with three easily interchangeable and non-invasive transducer sizes which are optimised to suit a broad variety of pipe sizes and materials, and a new robust IP67 design.

Set-up is easy, it takes a matter of minutes to configure the PTFM 6.1 with any application parameters. Multiple transducer sets have been optimised for an extensive range of pipe sizes and materials, new and more powerful signal processing hardware, standard factory calibration, and intuitive on-screen diagnostics provide operators with an enhanced level of precision and dependability for achieving accurate results.

With our rugged IP67 design, powerful signal processing, easily interchangeable transducers, and intuitive user-interface with built-in data logger, the PTFM 6.1 is ready for the variety of challenging installation environments and applications you come across.

Designed to reduce waste, and fully prepared for whatever our uncertain future may bring, the integrated USB-C port enables the PTFM 6.1 to effortlessly expand its input and output capability without needing to replace the whole instrument.
