Pulsar (UK) has led the way in non-contacting ultrasonic level and flow measurement for over a decade, with equipment that will handle everything from battery powered remote Combined Sewer Overflow monitoring through to super-high accuracy open channel flow measurement and sophisticated pump control systems that automatically avoid periods of high energy costs. Pulsar’s award-winning innovations include DUET, the unique twin transducer solution for the highest accuracy in open channel flow measurement, and Quantum, a controller that warns of ‘time to spill’ in critical pumping stations while automatically resetting tripped pumps, saving staff from having to make unnecessary trips to site. For general use, Pulsar’s Ultra range is user-configurable for pump control, level and volume or open channel flow measurement.

Pulsar’s digital DATEM echo processing technology ensures a reliable, accurate measurement even on very deep or heavily obstructed applications. Sludge Finder 2 is a new development in accurate sludge interface level measurement that uses acoustic technology and sophisticated echo processing techniques to give reliable measurement across all levels of clarifiers.

Pulsar are dedicated to supporting their network of overseas customers, agents and distributors, and were rewarded by the presentation of the very prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, in 2009.
